What this site is
FindFlowCoach has three parts. The directory lists coaches and practices whose work centers on flow state, organized by specialty. The guides explain the mechanics of flow in direct language, written to answer real questions. And the featured listing highlights the site's founding coach, David Christopher Lee, whose own work on presence and performance sits behind the project.
Flow coaching is a young field with no single license or governing body. That makes it hard for a buyer to tell a serious practitioner from a nice website. This directory exists to make that easier: fewer listings, clearer specialties, and profiles that say plainly what each coach does and who they do it for.
How coaches are vetted
Every listing is reviewed by a person before it appears. The review is deliberately modest in what it claims:
- We confirm the practice is real and publicly operating, with a working website or verifiable public presence.
- We confirm flow state work is a genuine, central part of what the coach offers, not a keyword added to a general listing.
- We check that credentials stated in a profile match what the coach states publicly about themselves.
- We write profiles from the coach's own public descriptions, and we do not publish testimonials, ratings or outcome claims.
Vetting confirms identity and accuracy of description. It is not a guarantee of results, and inclusion is not an endorsement. Coaching outcomes depend on the work two people do together, and no directory can certify that in advance.
Most profiles at launch are marked Unclaimed: they were built from the coach's own public pages so the directory is complete from day one. Any coach can claim their profile free to correct it, enhance it, add a photo and booking link, or have it removed entirely. Removal requests are honored promptly.
What flow coaching is not
Coaching is not therapy, diagnosis or medical care. If you are dealing with a mental health condition, the right professional is a licensed clinician. Many people work with both, for different things. Our guide on what a flow state coach is covers the distinction in detail.
Contact
For listing questions, corrections to a profile, or inquiries about the featured coach's own coaching, email [email protected]. If you are writing about coaching with David Christopher Lee, say so in the subject line and include what you are preparing for and your timeline.
Coaches who want to join the directory should use the get listed page, which explains the two ways in: claiming an existing profile through the Coach Portal, and registration by invitation.
